- Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds (adjust time based on your microwave’s power).
- Let it sit for a minute, then enjoy your 3 ingredient mug cake! If it’s still undercooked, microwave in 10-second intervals.
Vanilla Mug Cake Preparation
- In a mug, mix the flour and sugar.
- Pour in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
- Cook for 1 minute (adjust as needed).
- Let it cool slightly before digging into your 3 ingredient mug cake!
Notes
For a gooey center in the chocolate mug cake, slightly undercook it. If you prefer a firmer texture, extend the cooking time by 10–15 seconds. The vanilla mug cake can be enhanced with fruity add-ins or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
