Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Butter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 2 sticks of butter
  • 8–10 cloves garlic, minced or 2 tbsp garlic powder for a milder taste
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped optional, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soften the butter by allowing it to sit at room temperature for 30–45 minutes until soft but not melted.
  2. Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves or use a garlic press.
  3. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and salt. Use a fork or spatula to blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and add more salt if needed. For an herby touch, stir in fresh parsley.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container or shape into a log using parchment paper.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, roast the garlic before mixing. This mellows the sharpness and adds a caramelized depth. Other variations can include roasting garlic, adding herbs, or mixing in spices.
